Terms of Service

1.1 The following terms of service ("Terms") set forth the rules that govern your use of the website wearelegacy.co.nz and any related booking services operated by Legacy EPT Ltd ("Legacy", "we", "us", or "our"). Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing or using our services, you agree that you have read, understand, and agree to be bound by these Terms. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.

1.2 Legacy reserves the right to modify these Terms periodically. Any changes will become effective upon posting to our website along with the date last updated. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

2.1 Legacy is operated by Legacy EPT Ltd, a company registered in New Zealand. Our services provide premium private transfer services throughout New Zealand.

3.1 Legacy provides professional transportation services ("Transport Services") throughout New Zealand.

3.2 We are a fully licensed transport operator committed to providing premium service through our professional drivers and late-model European vehicles.

4.1 To book Transport Services through Legacy:

• Select your pickup location, destination, date, time, and number of passengers
• Provide required contact information including name, email, and phone number
• Submit your booking request or quote request
• Upon confirmation, we will provide you with booking details and driver information
• Payment terms will be communicated at time of booking confirmation

4.2 By submitting a booking request, you represent that you have the authority to book on behalf of all passengers and that all passengers agree to these Terms.

5.1 Prices displayed on our platform are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and are subject to the following:

• Prices are per booking and vary based on distance and service type
• Airport surcharges may apply for airport pickups/drop-offs as indicated
• Prices are inclusive of GST where applicable
• Additional charges may apply for locations outside city CBD areas
• Payment methods and terms will be confirmed at time of booking

5.2 All prices are indicative quotes. Final pricing will be confirmed in your booking confirmation.

6.1 All cancellations must be made by contacting us at bookings@legacyept.nz or 092732953. Cancellation fees apply as follows:

• More than 48 hours before service: Full refund
• 24-48 hours before service: 50% cancellation fee applies
• Less than 24 hours before service: 100% cancellation fee applies (no refund)
• Modifications to bookings are subject to availability and may incur additional charges

6.2 Cancellation fees are calculated based on the scheduled pickup time of your service.

6.3 No-Show Policy: For flight arrivals, the driver will meet you at the actual arrival time. For all other pickups, drivers will arrive at the agreed booking time. Drivers will wait a maximum of 45 minutes for international flights and 30 minutes for domestic flights or other pickups from the scheduled arrival/booking time. If you fail to meet the driver within the specified waiting period, this will be considered a no-show and 100% of the booking amount will be charged with no refund.

7.1 The standard baggage allocation per person is: 1 suitcase and 1 carry-on item.

7.2 Additional items such as child restraints, child strollers, wheelchairs, and other bulky items are considered additional baggage and may require space equivalent to one passenger.

7.3 For transfers with additional items beyond the standard allowance, passengers may be required to pay an additional fee. Please inform us of any extra baggage or special items when booking to ensure appropriate vehicle arrangements.

8.1 As a User, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information when booking
• Be present at the agreed pickup location at the scheduled time
• Treat Drivers with respect and courtesy
• Not engage in any illegal activities during transport
• Ensure all passengers are properly secured
• Not damage the vehicle or property of the Driver
• Comply with all New Zealand laws and regulations

9.1 Legacy is fully insured for passenger liability. However, we are not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings left in vehicles.

9.2 Our services are provided to the highest professional standards. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under New Zealand law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

10.1 All Legacy drivers maintain appropriate insurance coverage as required by New Zealand law.

11.1 We collect and process personal information in accordance with New Zealand privacy laws. By using our services, you consent to collection of your contact details and booking information, and sharing necessary information to facilitate your booking.

11.2 We will not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes without your consent.

12.1 Legacy reserves the right to refuse service or terminate bookings for any user who violates these Terms, engages in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

13.1 Neither Legacy nor Drivers shall be liable for any failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, strikes, government actions, or other force majeure events.

14.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.

15.1 Nothing in these Terms affects your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other applicable New Zealand consumer protection legislation.
